As a young man in 1899, John Fairweather embarked on a cycling trip to Rouen, Lisieux, and Caen in northern France, and his sketchbook contains numerous architectural drawings.
The sketch book contains 20 drawings that are now in the safekeeping of The Mitchell Library, Glasgow.
